At Princes Risborough School, the health, safety and well-being of every child are our paramount concern. We listen to our students and take seriously what they tell us. Our aim is that children will enjoy their time as students in this school and will feel safe at all times.

All staff at PRS are engaged in a rolling programme of mandatory Safeguarding training which includes a session at the very beginning of each school year with updates throughout the school year.

We give all visitors to the school very clear advice about the safety of the students. Every visitor must read this advice before coming onto our school site. This information is found within our sign-in system, InVentry.

Central to successful Safeguarding is working in partnership with parents and carers. Our Safeguarding Team is made up of the following colleagues who are all trained to the level of Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

On occasion, our concerns about a child mean that we have to consult with other agencies even before we contact you as the parents or carers of the child. The procedures which we follow have been laid down by the Buckinghamshire Area Safeguarding Team and The School has adopted a Safeguarding Policy in line with this for the safety of all.
